Projects and Tears of Joy ....or Hate

I'm grateful for the fact that blogging has limited rules and none of which have to do with how often a blog is to be updated. I am clearly slow but yet steady...maybe much like Yertle the Turtle (for all you Dr. Seuss fans). Life in the Tiffany house has been busy ....at least on my end.

As many of you can relate, pregnancy brings on more than just your average desire to clean.  I have spent the past three weeks tiling two bathrooms.  I have been purchasing tile supplies for over a year a little at a time and I finally had everything sooo ....time to tile.  The first bathroom was the begining of the nightmare on Elm Street!  Got the whole thing finished and the grout didn't set right. Oh yes I'm serious!! All the grout had to be drilled out, removed, and redone.  No I did not cry, but thought strongly about it. A week and a half later I tackled the bathroom in my bedroom.  You see the crazy builder of my house thought putting a sink in the bedroom and carpeting around it, like the rest of the bedroom, was a GRAND idea...what was he drinking!  I decided to cut out the carpet and tile the area around the sink and into the closet size shower and toilet area.  Ideas always sound great when they are in your head.   Long story short.... no diamond pattern was done as there wasn't a single square corner in the whole space.  As a matter of fact the room was more than a half inch off in places.  The finished product is awesome but I may have cried a few times.  I just blame it all on being pregnant.

So speaking of being pregnant,  this is the week the we will learn if the little bambino is blue or pink.  We are so excited!!!  Any votes?  So as we wait we have been discussing names...or maybe i should say Kaylee has been discussing names with us.  I told her I thought if its a boy we should name him Rocko.  After she recovered from laughing and asking me to say it over and over again, she decided that was NOT a good name and maybe Anderson would be nicer.  Names are difficult. There are so many traditional and unique names to choose from. Not to mention they follow you through your whole life and can make a school experience horrible or wonderful.  Anyone who would like to present suggestions is welcome to!!!! Please!!! If its a girl I'm voting for Tiffany Tiffany.

Since I am not very technologically savy and a few of you were not able to access my blog through my facebook post I'm trying again.  I hope this works!  Thank you Carrie for coming to my rescue.

BIG NEWS

We are finally joining the rest of the world in blogging about our oh so exciting lives!!  I am typically a blog stalker.  I love reading the talented words of so many friends and family, but never thought i had time to update the world on the craziness of my own family.  Since we are all spread out around the globe and don't have the time to connect with a voice, I've decided blogging is the best solution. Although, i would love to hear everyone's voice every now and then.

So for those of you who are not family or may have forgotten I will provide a quick overview of the Tiffany family here in Boise.  I am of course married to an amazing and hunk of a fireman.  Did I mention how good looking he is.... We have two beautiful daughters.  Makenzie is 14, a freshman in high school, sweet, thoughtful, smart, and often witty.  I like to say witty instead of a smartmouth.  She means well!  Our second child is Kaylee.  Kaylee is 5 and full of everything.  She is sure she was born a princess and will of course marry a prince. She is also a spitting image of her father...a little stubborn at times, and overly competitive.  For those of you who may be asking, "children from different marriages?" the answer is....no way!  Chad and I have been married for 15 blissful years, but knew we could just never have two teenagers at once...we like to spread them out!

Now that you all some background information are you still wondering what the big news is?  Is the fact that I am finally blogging?  Are we moving to a new house? One a bit bigger than a 3 car garage...just kidding I really do love our little house.  Or could it be......

Yup ....Baby number 3 is on his/her way!!  We are all very excited as we have one oversized closet left under the stairs that this little one can call their own.  Just kidding!! This peanut appears to be arriving somewhere around August 15 ( happy birthday to my brother).  I guess this means no bounce house for my birthday this year.

I hope you all will check back regularly as I promise to update frequently.  Maybe if your lucky, or unlucky, I will post some big round pictures of myself!!
